Getaway Package Cost: Variable (Custom Quote)
Cost is determined by current rates and availability of lodging, dining, and activities. We provide you with a personalized quote of the total estimated per person Getaway cost.
Individual Activities Cost: Variable
Non-Refundable Getaway Package Deposit: $25.00 (per trip fee for the whole group)
In order for us to research and provide you with the personalized Getaway cost quote, we require a non-refundable deposit of $25.00. The deposit will be applied towards your hosting fee at the time of booking.
Non-Refundable Activity Deposit: $10.00 per Activity (per trip for the whole group)
The deposit will be applied towards your Hosting fee at the time of booking.
Getaway Certificates
In amounts of $15.00, $25.00 or $35.00
Certificates are for use at the restaurant of your choice. We offer information on dining choices in Yellow Springs and make your reservation. Certificates can be used to pay for anything on the regular menu. There is no money back from the certificates, if you spend more than the prepaid amount on your certificate the restaurant will present you with a bill for the additional amount.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates can be purchased for any of our services.
Gift certificates amounts are for the exact fee of the service that will be provided.
Host fee: Variable (per person)
In addition to your Getaway cost (which is the price for all the wonderful things that you will do on your visit to Yellow Springs) we charge a hosting fee of $10 per activity that we book for you, this covers our time and services.
The Hosting Fee includes:
- E-mail or phone consultation on what you and your friends want your visit to include.
- Recommending and booking of lodging
- Recommending and booking of restaurant reservations
- Arranging of transportation from/to airports and bikes rentals
- Recommending and booking of spa, art and leisure activities
- Welcome meeting and answers to your questions about your stay.
- A welcome bag that includes a Yellow Springs map, Glen Helen map, directions to your lodging, dining and activity locations, Yellow Springs brochures, a listing of events going on in town during your visit, anda special surprise gift.
- Your host’s phone number so we can help with problems.
Cancellation Fees:
For Getaway Packages:$30.00 (per person)plus any vendor cancellation fees
For separate Activities: $10.00 (per person per activity) plus any vendor cancellation feesWe know it’s not fun when you have to cancel a trip. Everyone feels bad. Just as we feel responsible for providing you with a great experience we also feel responsible to the many village businesses and artists, instructors and practitioners that provide the wonderful things we offer. When you cancel they lose income.
The Getaway cancellation fee compensates us for the time we’ve already spent setting up your trip.
Your cancellation request must be received in writing (e-mail is fine). Your fee will be promptly refunded, minus the cancellation fees. Your personalized quote will include notices of any vendor cancellation policies. By accepting the quote and authorizing us to book, you are accepting responsibility for the indicated cancellation fees.
** Missed appointments/workshops/activities are not refunded.
Change Fee $10.00 per activity plus vendor fees & penalties
Your personalized quote will include notices of any vendor cancellation policies. By accepting the quote and authorizing us to book, you are accepting responsibility for the indicated cancellation fees.
These will be charged to your form of payment.
There is a $25.00 service charge for a returned check.
We will try to notify you of the problem. If we are unable to reach you within a reasonable amount of time we will consider the trip canceled by you.
How does it work?
After you find a Getaway Package or an activity/activities that you are interested in, you let us know by clicking on the +Add button, then scroll to the bottom and click on the box that says “Go to Checkout”. At the Checkout page we ask you for:
- Your contact information,
- Number of guests in your party,
- Dates you want to arrive and to depart,
- Economy or deluxe,
- Private or double occupancy accommodations,
- Special needs,
- Payment method* (If you are paying by check, we will not begin researching your quote until the check has cleared our bank.)
To go ahead, you need to:
Pay your deposit by credit card or Pay Pal account: select PayPal for your payment choice. Then click on the “Submit” button that will take you to a secure PayPal site to pay for your deposit.Or
- If you prefer to register offline and pay your deposit by check, click on the link “you can also register offline”.
Or
- If paying by check, but sending your registration information online, fill out the registration form, click on “Check or Money Order” button, then click “Submit” and mail your deposit check.
If you select the Credit Card/PayPal payment method, clicking on the “Submit” button will take you to the secure PayPal site where you can pay for the deposit through your PayPal account or by credit card. A PayPal account is not required to make a purchase – once the PayPal page loads, you can also choose to pay with most major credit cards.
If booking a Getaway Package the deposit is $25.00 (this is a per trip fee for the whole group.) The deposit is non refundable. The deposit compensates us for the time we are going to put in researching and preparing your quote. But the good news is the deposit goes towards your hosting fee when you book.
If you are booking separate activities the Deposit is $10.00 per activity (this is a per trip fee for your whole group.) The Deposit is non refundable. But the good news is the deposit goes towards your hosting fee when you book.
We will get back to you with an e-mail that includes the available options, activities and a price quote.
Once you approve the quote, we will send you an e-mail invoice. Your invoice will include a PayPal link. The PayPal button takes you to our secure PayPal site where you can pay for your getaway by your PayPal account or by credit card.
You can also choose to pay by check. * We will book your Getaway after your check has cleared our bank.
After receiving confirmation of your payment, we will book your getaway.

Yellow Springs, Ohio, 45387You are responsible for getting us all your girlfriends’ (group members) names and e-mail or postal addresses so that we can send them their invoices. If you like, you can pay for the entire group on one invoice.
It is important to get back to us as soon as possible after you receive your quote with your decision and each group member’s e-mail or postal address, because availability can change until you are booked. We cannot be responsible for not completing reservations or securing quoted rates, if we do not receive necessary information for all group members in a timely fashion.
Once payments and bookings are complete, you will receive a detailed itinerary, instructions and directions.
If you want to make a change to your bookings after you’ve paid, there will be a Change Fee of $10.00 per activity plus vendor cancellation fees. We will tell you what the fee will be before each proposed change.
If you need to cancel your trip after you’ve paid, there will be a cancellation fee:
Getaway Packages-$30.00 per person plus any vendor cancellation fee.
Or
Individual Activities-$10.00 per person plus any vendor cancellation fee
If only some of your group cancel, the cancel fees only apply to them. But everyone’s rate may change on activities that include a price break for more than one person.We recommend that you purchase travel insurance.
