1. Decorated Letters Class:  Learn to decorate your initial or a friend's in the medieval manner.
2. Handmade Books Class:  Present your calligraphy in book form.  Several formats will be presented:  accordion-fold, pamphlet, meander and others.
3. Celtic Interlace Class:  Learn to draw those famous "woven" designs and knots.
4. Backgrounds Class:  Projects that will provide colorful settings for your calligraphy or handwriting.

Join the Hoopla!

Take a workshop in the modern art of hoop dance and fitness.  Hooping did not just start in the 70's in the United States.  Hooping has been around since ancient times.  Our modern day hoops are colorful, bigger and heavier guaranteeing that everyone can hoop, whether you could do it with those old hoops or not.  Benefits of hooping include fitness, muscle toning, cardiovascular conditioning, lymphatic and digestive massage, right and left body coordination, mental focus, and emotional balance.  Hooping is a dance, a meditation, and above all it's FUN!  Where else can you get all this in one hour?!  Hoops will be made available to use or to purchase.  Make sure to tell us if you want to order your own custom-made hoops.

Learn how to shimmy, undulate, maya, hip scoops and other belly dancing basics in a fun and easy going environment. We'll put all of our moves together at the end for a circle dance. Wear comfortable clothes in layers, skirt or pants. Bring a scarf or hip belt to tie around hips. I will have extras on hand.

Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses primarily on the feet. Most reflexologists believe that the entire body is mirrored on the feet through a system of reflexes. Reflexology is the application of pressure to these reflex areas. If certain reflex points are tender, it may indicate some type of stress in the body. Because most people find a reflexology session to be deeply relaxing, this relaxation may help the body balance any stress it's experiencing.

Reiki ("RAY-kee") is a Japanese word representing Universal Life Energy. Reiki is based on the belief that when spiritual energy is channeled through a Reiki practitioner, the patient's spirit is healed, which in turn heals the physical body. This is based in the belief that all matter is comprised of energy, including the human body. The practitioner places his/her hands on the patient, who lies on a table, wearing comfortable clothing. If the patient does not wish to be touched, the practitioner can hover their hands above the body.

Afterwards, movers may draw, write or speak to integrate their experience.

Precious Metal Clay is recycled silver ground into a powder, then combined with water and organic binders. When fired the water and binder burns away leaving you with a .999 fine silver creation. This is Rhonda’s most requested class!

The clay is very versatile and fun to work with. You will make 2 small or 1 medium sized pieces with 7 grams of silver. Students will go home with their own unique piece of jewelry!

Students explore techniques to create texture and patterns onto silver, ball the ends of fine silver wire and polish. The end result is a ring of many textures!
